Students Together

Student Life

A Community of Exceptional Minds

At TopBridge Academy, students find peers who share their intellectual curiosity, passion for learning, and drive to make a difference.

Student Discussion

Finding Your Tribe

Gifted students often feel isolated in traditional schools. At TopBridge, they're surrounded by peers who understand what it's like to think differently, learn faster, and see connections others miss.

Our small founding class of 30 students creates an intimate community where everyone knows everyone. Students form deep friendships based on shared intellectual interests and mutual respect.

This is more than a school — it's a community of young scholars who challenge each other, support each other, and grow together.

Honor Code

Students commit to academic integrity, respect for others, and personal responsibility. Our honor code is student-led and community-enforced.

Advisory System

Each student has a faculty advisor who serves as mentor, advocate, and guide throughout their TopBridge journey.

Family Partnership

We work closely with families to support each student's academic and social-emotional development. Regular communication keeps everyone aligned.

Activities & Enrichment

Excellence extends beyond the classroom. Our students pursue passions, develop talents, and build leadership skills through diverse activities.

Athletics (via FCA Partnership)

Basketball (Boys & Girls) – Competing in FCA Leon County leagues with championship-level coaching.
Education-Focused Basketball Games – Annual attendance at FSU Women's Basketball games to study teamwork, strategy, and excellence in action.

TopBridge is pursuing FHSAA membership for expanded athletic opportunities in 2027+.

Museum & Cultural Field Trips

Regular visits to:

  • The Tallahassee Museum
  • Mary Brogan Museum of Art & Science
  • FSU's Museum of Fine Arts (MoFA)

College Exposure Tours

Annual campus tours of Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Tallahassee State College—designed to inspire college-bound mindsets from middle school onward.

Passion Projects & Independent Pursuits

We believe students should have time to pursue their unique interests. Our schedule includes dedicated time for independent projects, whether that's coding an app, writing a novel, conducting research, or building a business.

Students present their work at our annual Innovation Showcase, where they share their creations with the school community, families, and invited guests from industry and academia.
