A Day in the Life
What a typical day looks like at TopBridge Academy
Before-School Care
Optional supervised care and activities available for students who arrive early. A safe and structured environment before the school day begins.
Morning Assembly
School day begins with community gathering, announcements, student presentations, and thought-provoking discussions to start the day.
Core Academics
Three 75-minute blocks of intensive academic work in mathematics, sciences, and humanities. Small seminars encourage deep discussion and critical thinking.
Lunch & Community Time
Shared lunch period in our community dining space, followed by free time for socializing, clubs, or outdoor activities.
Electives & Enrichment
Languages, arts, technology, and specialized courses. Students choose electives based on interests and goals.
Athletics & Activities/Dismissal
School day ends. Students are picked up by parents or guardians. Sports practice, club meetings, or independent project time. Physical activity and creative pursuits balance the academic intensity.
After-School Care
Optional supervised care available for families who need extended hours. Students can complete homework, participate in activities, or relax in a safe environment.

Our handbook outlines clear behavioral expectations, consequences, and the commitment required from every student and family. This is not a place for excuses or mediocrity; we expect excellence in all areas.

Activities & Enrichment
Excellence extends beyond the classroom. Our students pursue passions, develop talents, and build leadership skills through diverse activities.
Athletics (via FCA Partnership)
TopBridge is pursuing FHSAA membership for expanded athletic opportunities in 2026+.

College Exposure Tours
Annual campus tours of Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Tallahassee State College—designed to inspire college-bound mindsets from middle school onward.
Passion Projects & Independent Pursuits
We believe students should have time to pursue their unique interests. Our schedule includes dedicated time for independent projects, whether that's coding an app, writing a novel, conducting research, or building a business.
Students present their work at our annual Innovation Showcase, where they share their creations with the school community, families, and invited guests from industry and academia.

Each student has a faculty advisor who serves as mentor throughout their TopBridge journey.

School Uniforms
Our uniform policy promotes equality, school pride, and a focused learning environment. All uniform items can be purchased through our official provider.

- Official school polo shirts in navy or white
- Khaki or navy dress pants/skirts
- School sweater or cardigan (optional)
- Closed-toe dress shoes in black or brown

Uniform Guidelines
Students are expected to wear their complete uniform daily. Uniforms should be clean, pressed, and in good condition. For special events and dress-down days, please refer to the student handbook.
