The Entry & Exit Portal
TopBridge Academy's streamlined system for student arrival and dismissal. It teaches students independence, ensures accurate attendance, and keeps daily transitions smooth and organized.
How Students Use the Entry & Exit Portal
Step 1: Approach the Portal
- Students enter through the designated morning entrance.
- The Portal Scan Station will be clearly marked and supervised.
Step 2: Present the QR Badge
- Students hold their personalized QR badge in front of the scanner.
- The scanner automatically reads the badge—no tapping or touching required.
Step 3: Watch for Confirmation
- A brief on-screen confirmation appears, indicating a successful check‑in.
- Students may then proceed directly to their classroom.
Step 4: Afternoon Exit Through the Portal
- At dismissal, students stop at the Portal Check‑Out Station.
- They scan their badge again to officially record their departure.
Step 5: Follow Staff Guidance
- Staff members will guide students through the dismissal flow to ensure safety and order.
- Students should keep their QR badge accessible in their backpack or on a lanyard.
Why the Entry & Exit Portal Matters
Ensures precise, timestamped attendance records.
Builds student responsibility and routine.
Supports a smooth, organized start and end to each day.
Enhances safety by verifying every student's entry and exit.
